Human temperature scale

· 2 minute read

Human (°H) is a temperature scale for humans. Its purpose is to provide comfortable air temperature measures that don’t require decimals (unlike Celsius), with reasonable and memorable anchor numbers (unlike Farenheit).

Water freezing is a useful bottom anchor, but water boiling is not a useful top anchor to gauge comfortable air temperature. The Human scale sets the top anchor at the hottest air temperature you might reasonably encounter. In other words, below 0°H you’re dying of cold, and above 100°H you’re dying of heat.

Note: this is just for fun, not a practical recommendation.
